Several updates from across the network this week! Monday saw a trip to Cork to spend a short holiday with a mate(fellow enthusiast)to photograph the Cobh and Midleton lines! All stations between Cork and Cobh and Cobh Junction and Midleton are covered as planned! A surprise however showed up on Wednesday morning with the 07:55 Cork-Cobh and 08:25 Cobh-Tralee bringing 22000 traction to the Cobh line.Photos are taken of a murky arrival in Glounthaune and a few shots in Cobh. On Thursday morning we travelled to Dublin to photograph the inaugural run of the IWT liner from North Wall-Ballina.076 done the honours sporting stickers to mark the event for the successful introduction of the liner,it being the first container train out of Dublin since 28th July 2005. A few odds and sods were also added to our day!077 worked an 07:50 Waterford-Portlaoise empty relay train while 073 worked a 12:45 Portlaoise-Waterford laden relay train.Also,an unusual sitting of a Laden Timber train in daylight,due to the cancellation of it on Wednesday night!
